Fundraiser for The Gateway Warrior Foundation

POWERS Insurance and Benefits along with the Members of VIAA will be fundraising for the next seven weeks for The Gateway Warrior Foundation. This is an all-volunteer board of local Business men and women in the St. Louis area. Once a year they hold an annual Golf outing as well as collecting funds year round for the purpose of assisting the following Veteran organizations.

  • The Fischer House: Allows families to stay in their facility while a veteran loved one is in the VA hospital or other local hospital
  • This Able Veteran: Pairs a veteran suffering from PTSD symptoms; depression, or anxiety with a service dog.
  • The Honor Flight: Sends WWll Veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the memorial constructed for them in 2004.
  • Focus Marines Foundation: Assists Marines and any Post 911 veteran overcome visible and invisible wounds and become an active member of society.
