Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA) helps independent insurance agencies grow, operate efficiently, and remain independent. The Powers family founded VIAA in 2026 after experiencing many of the same challenges agency owners face today. While market access and revenue growth form the foundation of our model, VIAA delivers far more to help Members build profitable and lasting businesses.
More than 165 agency owners shape VIAA’s network and drive the solutions we provide. We work with family-owned agencies and individual producers who value entrepreneurship, integrity, trust, and respect. Together, VIAA helps agency owners create a sustainable future.
VIAA gives Members direct access to A+ rated insurance carriers, helping them meet a broad range of client insurance and risk management needs. Members retain their autonomy and book ownership while pursuing above-industry-average compensation opportunities.
Our Development Team coaches Members on using technology and proven workflows to run more efficient agencies. The team provides one-on-one guidance to increase retention, hire and train CSRs, mentor producers, and implement new technology. VIAA offers this hands-on support exclusively to Members.
Our family wants to grow and contribute to the greater good. Henry and Elizabeth Powers meet with prospective Members, learn their goals, and create engagement strategies that help their agencies thrive. VIAA’s mission is to help independent agencies grow and give back through community outreach.
