VIAA Hires New COO

Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA) and sister company POWERS Insurance and Benefits recently named Brien Pidgeon as their new Chief Operating Officer. VIAA is a cohesive family of nearly 100 independent insurance agencies in Missouri and Southern Illinois. POWERS Insurance and Benefits is one of the largest family owned and operated independent insurance agencies in the bi-state region.

Pidgeon is a seasoned C-Level executive with experience in both the public and private financial service industries. He has been credited with the dramatic growth of multiple companies throughout his career. Pidgeon recently relocated back to St. Louis after a 24-year absence. He is a Fulbright Scholar with a Master’s degree in Business from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
