This week, our Strategic Partner focus is Nationwide. Nationwide will do monoline commercial auto. They will also do new ventures in other lines, with the exception of worker’s compensation. Please check out the attached flyer for more info. It should be noted, however, that they are really not interested in habitational exposures (even though it is shown on the attached sheet).
Nationwide has a broad appetite and can offer competitive pricing on many classes. Nationwide has improved their commercial rating system to streamline the rating process. On smaller, simpler risks, 60% of these accounts will no longer require underwriting intervention. In addition, there are 80% fewer quote screens when quoting BOP and business auto.
